Kala Nera - Pelion

Kala Nera is a little village that enjoys a great location on the seafront overlooking the Pagasitic Gulf.

This village is full of life and is a favorite destination for the Greeks to spend their holidays.

Along the boulevard you can find little shops, coffee shops and lots of tavern's to enjoy the traditional Greek kitchen at a terrace near the water with an amazing (sunset) view.

For daily needs there are supermarkets, bakeries, a butcher, a pharmacy and an ATM-machine.

Apart from swimming in the clean and safe water of the sea there is the possibility for fishing, sailing, surfing and water-skiing.

Having Kala Nera as a base you can visit all of Pelion as well as the Sporadic Islands. Small boats make trips every day to the islands. Tourist offices organize excursions to the Monasteries of Meteora, one of the must-have-seen's on the mainland.
